STATEMENT OF FAITH AND DOCTRINE

  1. The Nature of God:

We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: the Father, the Son (Jesus Christ), and the Holy Spirit. Each person of the Trinity is fully God, distinct yet inseparable, and equal in power and glory.

  1. Jesus Christ:

We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ, who is fully God and fully human. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, suffered, died, was buried, and on the third day, rose again from the dead, accomplishing redemption for all who believe in Him.

  1. Salvation:

We believe that salvation is a gift of God’s grace, received through faith in Jesus Christ. It is not earned through good works but is a result of God’s love and mercy. Believers are called to repent of their sins, confess their faith in Jesus, and be baptized as a sign of their commitment to following Christ.

  1. The Holy Spirit:

We believe in the presence and work of the Holy Spirit in the world and in the lives of believers. The Holy Spirit empowers believers for Christian life and service, convicts the world of sin, and guides believers into all truth.

  1. The Bible:

We believe that the Bible is the inspired and authoritative word of God. It is the ultimate source of truth and is the guide for faith and practice. The Rohim International teaches the importance of studying and applying the teachings of the Bible in the life of the believer.

  1. The Church:

We believe in the universal church as the body of Christ, composed of all believers, and the local church as a community of faith. We emphasize the importance of community, fellowship, and mutual support among believers. The church is called to proclaim the gospel, make disciples, and participate in acts of service and charity.

  1. The Sacraments:

We practice baptism and the Lord’s Supper (Communion) as sacraments instituted by Jesus Christ. Baptism is a symbolic act of new life in Christ and entrance into the community of believers. The Lord’s Supper commemorates the sacrificial death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

  1. Eschatology:

We believe in the return of Jesus Christ, the final judgment, and the hope of the resurrection of the dead. Believers are encouraged to live in anticipation of the return of Christ and to be faithful in their witness and service until that time.

As a church community, we seek to live out these beliefs in a way that reflects the love and grace of God to the world. We are committed to deepening our relationship with God, living in harmony with one another, and actively engaging in the work of God’s kingdom. Our faith and doctrine serve as a foundation for our worship, teaching, and mission, guiding us in our journey of following Jesus Christ.
