I will always encourage anyone to stay focused on the teachings of Christ if they desire to be of God. Being of God is spirit-filled, and being fleshly-minded is after things of the flesh.
Please take note of the many teachings that are so misleading nowadays; it is not about the preacher but rather the effect of Christ’s words on you matters.
There are teachings that leave people behind without answers to some silence questions in their hearts, and that also help to dim people’s trust and hope in God.
This can always happen due to human ways of interpreting the teachings of Christ, not knowing that Christ’s words are mysteries.
Tips: God is Spirit, and whatsoever gifts He has for you are Spirit, but if you’re not spirit-filled, how then can you receive gifts from Him? be worried about being spirit-filled so you may identify with Him.
Without the help of the Holy Spirit. It is impossible to talk about Christ in a way that profits others; in the same manner, you can talk about the Holy Spirit without Christ dwelling in you through His words; otherwise, it becomes empty and confusing most times.
Many have come to believe and understand through some of these teachings that even as a Christian, you’ll still go through challenges in this world. They begin to see overwhelming challenges as inevitable, something greater that no power or authority can pull down.
Anything that seems greater than you and that you sustain under its mercy is the Lord over your life.
Being a Christian means having only one Lord and God over your life through Christ, and that is God almighty. But if any other authority stands in your way or the going seems difficult, what should you do at that point in time?
Then you have to act like Christ through His words, if you’re in Christ by carrying out His instruction in your daily activities, and Christ also in you by His words dominating your hearts.
In Mark 11:23, the Lord said: Truly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, be taken up and thrown into the sea, and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will come to pass, it will be done for him.
When you walk on the pathway of Christ, you’re His disciple, and every other authority gives way because you’re not under your authority but Christ. The consciousness of Christ in you allows you to exercise authority towards others with love, for only love identifies Christ in you.
You can always experience mixed feelings; that is, sometimes things go right or wrong, then you’re depending more on self-knowledge. With self-knowledge, they’re rooms where you consider what is evil for good without fear of repercussion.
It’s a time you act, I don’t care, a time other spirits advise, and you listen and obey because you don’t listen to the Spirit of God, and you won’t listen to Him cautioning you. Well, at that point, you’re acting disobediently and rebelling against God.
Everything we do for our own happiness, whether good or bad, has a major role to play ahead of us.
