Let’s talk about doubtful prayer life because it is one common mistake most Christians are making nowadays: doubting prayers.

Have you really observed that the way you pray is doubtful?

It is very common for anyone to pray in doubtful manners unknowingly, but how do you overcome this issue?

This issue has everything to do with the beginning of your journey in Christ Jesus.

In John 3:5, Jesus answered, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.

Here the Lord is talking about the process of your recreation and relationship with God, which is your spiritual rebirth; otherwise, you’re not of God, and God is not in you.

Being born again is what gives you the right to ask for and receive spiritual blessings from God through Christ in the first place.

Many do not understand what it really means to be born again, so their act of prayer is doubtful.

Knowing and understanding the core essence of being born again means knowing who God is and how to communicate with Him.

Being born again is super paramount in the life of a Christian; it is the basis of a believer; otherwise, you lose your right to sonship.

John 3:6, Christ said.

That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the spirit is spirit.

In verse [7], the Lord said, Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’ Meaning it is a pattern that cannot be changed.

So, if you are conscious of the fact that flesh gives birth to you as flesh, and in that case, your desires and worries are for the fleshly as well, then you have no connection with God yet.

But if you’re conscious of God, who is Spirit, likewise, your desires and worries are spiritual.

The wisdom in this message is that if you’re yet to be of God, you’ll always desire fleshly things from God through your prayers, and that won’t come.

Take a look at your past prayer life; you’ll see it full of fleshly desires, and that is why the answers never come by; rather, they help to dim your trust in God through Christ Jesus.

When you’re conscious of spiritual things because you’re of God, then you’ll realize that prayers are not fleshly-based communications but spiritual.

Another point that seems more confusing and why you couldn’t comprehend these facts is that when a preacher prays for you and a miracle takes place, you feel relaxed and have no need to be spiritual.

Instead, you depend on preachers for prayers when need arises, which is why many struggle to identify with a preacher, and the fake preachers take advantage of your ignorance.

The preacher knows that you’re not of God, for if you were of God, then you’d operate in the same realms of sonship in Christ, but because you’re not, then he intervenes on your behalf through prayers.

This is the problem in churches today; you’ll see churches full of fleshly-minded people instead of spiritual ones.

Now listen to this in Romans 8:7-9.

[7] Because the carnal mind is enmity against God, for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can it be.

[8] So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God.

[9] But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now, if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His.

Being spiritual-minded does reflect in your actions and conduct because your steps are ordered by the Holy Spirit.
