You can actually be filled with the Holy Spirit

Firstly, Christ is about humility, about peace, love, kindness, and faithfulness. A proud fellow is against these characters and cannot summit oneself to the loyalty of the Holy Spirit because He is not as loud as you may think, neither does He speak of His own authority; rather, what He sees and hears is what He will educate you with.

Being filled with the Holy Spirit means not about having powers like Superman, the kind of power that destroys your neighbors whom you regard as your enemies or those people you know in authority who oppose your decision, rather manifesting peace where there is troubles, acting love through charity and showing compassion to the less privileges. Luke 9:54-56. these are characters of Christ Jesus main to be seen in the life of His followers, so to bring glory to God and the finished of Christ Jesus.

The Holy Spirit does not bring you power to contain others in fights, engaging in war with flesh and blood like you; rather, He walks with one who is willing to embrace a life of peace, love, kindness, and desire to separate you from the path of darkness and evil counsel; then He’ll use you as a channel to convert others as well. So, through you, the Spirit of God can redeem others with love.

He can use you as a channel for healings, deliverances, breakthroughs, and many other forms of blessings, setting free those who are oppressed by the power of darkness. In that case, your life as a Christian entirely promotes peace, love, kindness, and faithfulness in Christ Jesus.

The nature of love in you is the God Spirit, and He allows you to command authority through love and exercise power in love through love. Commanding authority through love is not challenging someone; rather, the nature of love in you will always look around to save the captive. Only love can warrant your concern and the hunger to save another from any kind of affliction.

Only the nature of love will warrant you to take a walk to the police station where there is authority and power, and the nature of God in you exercises greater authority through love, and the captive is set free.

The love of God in you cannot remain silent and inactive; it is active when it affects others, and it is greater when it sets another free. Anything contrary to these will grieve the Holy Spirit, as many may desire divine power to do evil while thinking they’re taking revenge.

The power you receive through Christ is not meant to destroy others. So, humility played a powerful role in letting the Spirit have His way in your life. Through humility, you listen and hear Him speaking to your soul, and your body carries out the actions instructively. Through humility, your spirit is open to learning the teachings of Christ Jesus, and the Holy Spirit works with the words of Christ in you.

It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing; the words that I speak unto you are spirit, and they are life. The words can only be effective in you when you follow the instructions to do all things. I can do all things through Christ’s teachings. His instructions guide me through my mistakes, and His instructions are the source of my strengths.
