Addiction Recovery Programs

Our Addiction Recovery Programs grew out of friendships with men and women who had tried to get clean more times than they could count, only to end up back in the same cycle-alone, ashamed, and exhausted. We knew that handing someone a brochure was not enough. They needed a community that would remember their name, celebrate small victories, and refuse to walk away when relapse happened.

At Rivers of Hope, we surround individuals in recovery with a circle of steady support. We offer faith-informed guidance, honest conversation, and practical help so that people are not just quitting a substance, but rebuilding a life. In our groups and one-on-one meetings, stories are shared without judgment. People talk about court dates, cravings, family strain, and the fear of failing yet again. We respond with truth, grace, and encouragement rooted in God's love. Recovery here is not a quick fix or a strict program you have to "perform" perfectly. It is a journey we walk together. We help connect participants to treatment centers, counseling, and medical care when needed. We also link them with our workforce and education programs so that, as sobriety stabilizes, opportunities for meaningful work and financial stability begin to open.

For many, the most powerful part of our recovery ministry is relationship. Volunteers and peer mentors check in with calls and texts, meet for coffee, and sit side by side during the hardest days. We celebrate milestones-one week clean, one month sober, one year in recovery-because every step is worth honoring.

If you are caught in addiction or starting over after relapse, you do not have to hide here. You will find people who understand the struggle, believe in your potential, and will keep showing up, even on the days when you are not sure you believe in yourself.
